This is the story of the life of Amelia Stevens, who had to live with and deal with paranormal and supernat-ural powers unknown to most others.She had friends, like Harold Hollard who had powers of his own and a few others, who had to keep silent about their abilities, for fear of censure and bullying if they were known to be different from the abilities of others.There were times when one of them had the power to heal, the power to warn of future events, the power to find those who were lost and needed help. Being able to use the unseen forces of the universe, Amy and her friends felt like they had to function beyond the silent invisibility of a veil, to be accept-ed as socially normal in this world to use their talents to help others who were in need.
