Judith M. McManus is a writer of southern historical fiction set primarily in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. She is the author of the bestselling novel, The Music of Her Life and her latest, The Image of Rachel Clair. Her roots stem from the Alabama Pioneers who settled in the north-central part of the state including the counties of St. Clair and Jefferson. Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, she now makes her home in the Atlanta area.
