With over 18 years of dedicated service at Management & Science University (MSU), Dr. Asif Iqbal has become a cornerstone of the Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering, where he currently serves as an Associate Professor. Throughout his career, Dr. Asif Iqbal has made significant strides in both academic and applied cybersecurity, producing impactful research that addresses today’s most pressing digital security challenges. His scholarly output includes numerous publications, book chapters, and collaborative research on advanced security frameworks, machine learning innovations, and IoT applications. His work is widely recognized, with 540 Google Scholar citations and an h-index of 15, underscoring his influence in the field. Dr. Asif Iqbal’s dedication to academic excellence has earned him prestigious accolades, such as the ITEX medals and the TEA President's Award. As a committed mentor and educator, Dr. Asif Iqbal supervises postgraduate students at the Master's and PhD levels, guiding them in pioneering research across various subfields of computer security and network safety. His role also extends to curriculum development and hands-on training in cybersecurity, where he actively integrates practical knowledge into his teaching. Notably, he has contributed to SOC (Security Operations Center) management, implementing innovative AI-driven cybersecurity projects that blend theoretical frameworks with real-world applications. Dr. Asif Iqbal’s dual commitment to research excellence and educational mentorship makes him a sought-after leader in the academic and professional cybersecurity communities. Dr. Asma’a Alhakimi obtained her Diploma in Computer Programming in 2006 from the University of Science and Technology in Sanaa, Yemen. She earned her bachelor’s degree in computer studies in 2008 from Northumbria University in Newcastle, UK, followed by a master’s degree in software engineering in 2011 from Staffordshire University, UK. She completed her Ph.D. in Software Engineering at Universiti Putra Malaysia. Dr. Asma’a has extensive experience in the networking field and served as a lecturer at Asia Pacific University (APU) in Malaysia for five years. She is recognized for her expertise in conducting industrial cybersecurity training. Her research interests encompass Cybersecurity, Reverse Engineering, Software Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence. In addition to her teaching and research responsibilities, Dr. Asma’a is an Editorial Board Member of the American Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering (AJECE) and is affiliated with the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and IEEE Access. Currently, she is a senior lecturer and researcher at MSU University, where she leads a research group focused on cybersecurity and forensics. Dr. Asma’a is dedicated to her work and is known for her innovative contributions across various domains. She has a strong publication record in cybersecurity and smart cities and has participated in an international exhibition showcasing a cybersecurity project that received significant recognition. Md Gapar Md Johar is Senior Vice President for System, Technology and Innovation of Management and Science University, Malaysia. He is a professor in Software Engineering. He holds PhD in Computer Science, MSc in Data Engineering and BSc (Hons) in Computer Science and Certified E-Commerce Consultant. He has more than 42 years of working and teaching experience in various organizations include Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Public Enterprise, Public Service Department, Glaxo Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Cosmopoint Institute of Technology as well as attachment at Staffordshire Hospital, UK. His proficiency in software engineering is complemented by a diverse research portfolios include learning content management system, knowledge management system, blended assessment system, data mining, RFID, e-commerce, image processing, character recognition, voice recognition, data analytics, artificial intelligent, brain-computer interface, Internet of Things and healthcare management system. He has managed the development of more than 35 computer applications, Notably, he spearheaded the groundbreaking Smart Poultry Farm Monitoring System, earning accolades at various international exhibitions, including a gold medal at ITeX 2024, ITeX 2022 and recognition at MTE 2022, PECIPTA’22, and SIIF 2022. This system revolutionizes IoT-based poultry farming by automating temperature, humidity, and ammonia gas monitoring, and poultry healthcare management showcasing his commitment to innovation and technological advancement. I Wayan Budi Sentana is a senior lecturer at the Department of Information Technology, Politeknik Negeri Bali, specializing in Cyber Security and Blockchain technology. He received the prestigious LPDP scholarship in 2019 to pursue his PhD at Macquarie University, Australia, where his research focused on enhancing the security of internet routing protocols (BGP) and mobile applications. Dr. Sentana is also an expert consultant at DUCO Inc., California, and a member of IEEE. He holds certifications in Cisco DevOps and EC-Council CHFI, strengthening his expertise in cybersecurity. He was awarded the Research Bridging Program in Taiwan in 2018 and was a finalist in the 2022 Cyber Thesis Competition at UNSW Sydney.
