Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationA lifelong communicator, Linda Kinne jokes that she came out of the womb talking. But with no siblings to chat and play with, she learned to express herself in writing. Linda's subsequent birth as a politics junkie came at age 12, when she watched her father, a career Marine, sob uncontrollably over Kennedy's assassination. Intuitively, she says, I knew the world would never be the same, and I should pay attention. So I did. Now, more than 50 years later, Linda describes herself as being dumbfounded by the trajectory of American politics and the prevalence of ignorance, bigotry, oppression, and greed. Hoping to help change that trajectory, she launched the blog Two Cents of Sense to promote progressive dialog, knowledge sharing, and activism. In Linda's past incarnations, she has been editor-in-chief of a garden-design magazine, a freelance business writer, a teacher at George Washington University, and a co-founder of the former Words at Work, Inc. in Northern Virginia.
