Overview

Do you want to add omega 3 to your Mediterranean diet and avoid the cognitive decline of your brain? This fresh, flavorful seafood and fish Cookbook is for your health benefit. There is something special about fish dishes in the Mediterranean diet. They are a source of protein rather than meats like chicken and beef. They are also full of Omega-3s which are responsible for several things: they help manage weight and even anxiety, contribute to better heart health, which is one of the focal points of the diet, as well as the well-being of our brains. Omega-3 fatty acids also help lower triglycerides, reduce blood clotting, and lower stroke and heart failure risks. That's why choosing plenty of fish dishes brings us closer to full wellness for our bodies and minds. Studies also show that people who closely follow a Mediterranean diet are less likely to have Alzheimer's disease than people who do not follow the diet. If your favourite dish includes fish because you are a health-conscious person, then The Mediterranean Diet Fish Cookbook is for you. With this cookbook you will have: Useful information about the Mediterranean diet and in particular the reasons why you should choose a fish dish; 50 fresh and tasty fish and seafood recipes to eat fish all the year Step-by-step instructions and nutritional values Chapters divided according to your favorite fish: salmon, trout, mussels, and many more... And if you don't like fish? You can try one of these recipes to realize that the way you cook fish also makes a difference in how it tastes. So what are you waiting for now? Author Information

Mindy Salt was born in New Jersey. When she was young, doctors diagnosed her with heart problems, so her parents often took her to hospitals and doctors' offices for check-ups and examinations. Her childhood was quite lonely because she couldn't enjoy running and playing like all the other children. After all, she quickly became tired and felt palpitations. During her teenage years, she was lucky enough to be in a school where the teachers liked to organize Tai-Chi sessions, which they considered to be a good sport for the mind and body, so Jenny noticed that there was more to fun than running and that there were different ways of loving sport and life. Therefore Jenny became aware of her limitations and realized that she, is not her limitations and that all she had to do was open her mind and be more imaginative and curious to try different things. Mindy is now married, has two girls, and works as an assistant in a dietician's office. She is very familiar with the problems of heart disease and depression, which can occur in the long term in people who feel frail and consequently increasingly weak, so for years, she has used her free time to give advice and moral support to the American Heart Association. Mindy keeps fit by doing yoga, stretching, and taking long walks on the beach while listening to music. Although she doesn't say so as not to worry her husband, she often suffers from a lack of appetite, so even when preparing food for herself and her family, she prefers light, healthy food that doesn't weigh her down. She knows very well that healthy eating can save our lives.
