Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationStephen David Rowe has enjoyed a varied career, initially working in sales and marketing, in the UK offices of Japanese multinational Mitsubishi Electric and French computer hardware company Electronique D2, respectively. After taking time out to gain a Degree in Cultural Studies at East London University, he then switched career into magazine journalism, eventually becoming a magazine editor at IPC Media, the UK division of US company Time Inc. Here he developed a keen interest in motivation, helping people to maximise their productivity and to actually enjoy their work. He is now a freelance journalist and author, keen to pass on the benefit of his experience to others. As well as writing, he also gives motivational speeches and, for example, in March 2025, he was a guest lecturer on the International Media Studies course at Padova University in Italy, the second-oldest university in the world.
