Kyle is a graduate of the University of Washington, where he developed his passion for the history of the Pacific Northwest. When he’s not dreaming up new ways to share his love of Seattle and its past, he’s spending time with his wife and two children. Jim Starr is a graduate of Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with a BFA in illustration, and currently lives near the Mason-Dixon Line, north of Baltimore. He started out as a staff studio illustrator and then moved into freelancing for clients. His most recognizable graphic image is the little mill on the Pepperidge Farms logo.
