Overview

"THE GREAT BEING chronicles from the beginning of the Multiverse through Melchizedek's teaching of Abraham. A Great Rebellion is going on in Heaven and therefore throughout the Universe, all of which is a single Mind at play-call it ""Cosmic Intelligence"" or ""God""-though it wears innumerable names. The Rebels retreat further and further and take their final stand on Earth. Two Agents of Cosmic Intelligence, Melchizedek and Layla, are dispatched to infiltrate the Rebels on Earth. However, the Rebels have interfered with evolution on Earth, so that the human brains the Agents step into suppress their knowledge of their true identities. They lose track of their Mission, getting sidetracked into identifying with the human bodies they inhabit while on Earth."

Blending spiritual philosophy, alternate history, pre-historic adventure, and brisk life-after-life storytelling, The Great Being begins Harvey's Agents of Cosmic Intelligence series, which imagines the history of the universe itself and the agents' efforts to connect humanity to higher consciousness. This is the fourth entry published but the first chronological chapter. It shares the swift pacing, spiritual seeking, twisty plotting, and sharply human dialogue of the earlier books. Dramatic and resonant, rich with spiritual implication. Seekers and lovers of mind-bending pre-histories will relish this. -BookLife by Publishers Weekly The radically inviting nature of this story brings with it the opportunity to view life and God in an entirely different light ... The story evolves with a reinterpretation of myths, events, and concepts that invites and demands discussion and insights on the parts of all kinds of spiritual thinkers ... One of Bill Harvey's great talents lies not just in his storytelling ability, but in his focus on translating life events and history with new interpretations ... Readers will find The Great Being's message to be one of hope, discovery, and new ways of viewing the universe ... A standout. -Diane Donovan for Midwest Book Review

Author Information

"Emmy(R) Award winner and media research industry leader, Bill Harvey has been lauded as a visionary of the changing mediascape over the last 35 years. With an imaginative, unorthodox mind for research, innovation, and invention, Bill started his career in the media business. He became a leader in the field as media morphed into being more interactive. In 2022, Bill received an Emmy(R) Award for the pioneering development of technology. In 2014, he became the first recipient of the Advertising Research Foundation's Erwin Ephron Demystification Award, and in 2008 he received the ARF's Great Mind Award. He holds four issued US patents and has consulted for over a hundred Fortune 500 companies. Bill first experienced the Zone-that space where innovative and successful ideas and actions flow out of you effortlessly-as a young child. The son of showbiz parents, Ned and Sandra Harvey, Bill started performing on stage at age four, dancing with showgirls and exchanging lines with comedic greats. He liked the feeling of being ""on"" and wanted to learn how to be ""on"" more often. So, he began his lifelong quest to understand how to bring on higher states of consciousness and to help others do the same. In 1976, Bill founded the Human Effectiveness Institute, with the goal of sharing the consciousness techniques he had learned and developed. His ideas were further inspired by Alan Watts, Buddhism, Zen, and his adopted older brother, Bill Heyer. Bill's first book, MIND MAGIC: The Science of Microcosmology, met with rave reviews in the late 70s and was praised by thousands of readers. The book is now available in its sixth edition, MIND MAGIC: Doorways into Higher Consciousness, and continues to receive five-star reader reviews on Amazon. In his newest nonfiction book, A THEORY OF CONSCIOUSNESS including CONSCIOUSNESS AND ""GOD"", Bill appeals to physicists, and to everyone, to accept the scientific possibility of something very much like ""God""-to acknowledge that there is no scientific basis for ruling out the possibility that the universe is intelligent.Turning to fiction, Bill conceived an epic series of novels entitled Agents of Cosmic Intelligence. THE FIRST SON was the first to be released, Episode 2 in the series, covering the ancient world and its great prophets-some of whom Bill sees as cosmically-inspired Agents. PANDEMONIUM: Live to All Devices, Episodes 12 and 13 in the Agents series, is set quite a few years in our future when new media technology has served up augmented reality and artificial people. In THE MESSAGE, Episode 11 in the series, every psychic on Earth receives the same message at the same time. The US psychic Theta Force and the Russian Psychotronic Division both want to find them first. Whoever has that much psychic energy will be an invincible ally.Bill lives with his wife Lalita in New York's beautiful Hudson Valley. He has a daughter Nicole, and with Lalita has four grandchildren, and a great-grandchild."
