After obtaining her doctorate in medicine at Boston University School of Medicine, she completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency through the University of Texas at Houston's Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital program and her reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship at New Jersey Medical School. She is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and the Texas Medical Association.
