Chris Woodyard is an Ohio writer and historian, author of the Haunted Ohio series, the Ghosts of the Past series--featuring historical ghost stories. Woodyard is also the author of The Victorian Book of the Dead, on the popular and material culture of Victorian mourning and death and A is for Arsenic: The ABCs of Victorian Death, on the basics of Victorian death traditions, illustrated by Landis Blair.
