Author Information

David Yeates is Schlinger Fellow in Insect Systematics and a principal research scientist in the Australian National Insect Collection in the Division of Entomology, Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization. He has published over eighty papers on the systematics and biology of flies and other insects. Brian Wiegmann is associate professor in the Entomology Department at North Carolina State University. His research is focused on fly phylogeny and the molecular evolution of fly genes.
