Gloria and her siblings were removed from their sovereign First Nations family in Kempsey when they were young children. They grew up in orphanages and foster care in Brisbane. Later, Gloria lived in North West Queensland and spent a large part of her life abiding in remote outback towns. A beautiful and talented artist, she finds therapeutic healing while painting in memory of her mother and grandmother.
