Author Information

From an early age, my love for animals has been a constant in my life. I earned my BA in Psychology from the University of Pretoria in 1983, driven not only by a passion for understanding the human mind but also by a deep desire to support emotional well-being. Years of ministry work strengthened my connection with people, ultimately leading me to a pivotal realization-our bonds with animals are just as profound, and the emotional welfare of pet owners is an often-overlooked need. After retiring, I founded Petkidz turning my lifelong love for animals into a meaningful venture. One of my first projects was this book-created to help and support pet parents worldwide as they navigate the grief and loss of their beloved companions. My hope is that it provides comfort, understanding, and reassurance to those who need it most.
