Trond Bjorndal is Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Fisheries Economics, Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration. He specialises in fisheries and aquaculture economics and has published extensively in the field. Dr Bjorndal has taught courses on aquaculture economics in Norway, the United States and Canada and given lectures on the topic in Italy, Iceland and Japan.
