Overview

"Something happened to me in the early 80's, that profoundly changed my perception of reality - I had a series of strange dreams and experiences, which over a period of time, provided me with a new perspective of myself and the world around me - From my journal: The visions began to form meaningful sequences, which sometimes lasted for days. I began to see a pattern in the events of my life, which started to synchronize - Things that were said, took on Power - words and phrases, started to synchronize with events and places - Something was 'coming' through to me, but I wasn't sure what 'it' was. Over a period of time, I became aware that these ideas needed to be expressed. ""On my way into town one afternoon, I saw a bunch of clouds form into an Eagle right in front of my eyes. The clouds were moving very quickly, and by the time I got to the top of the hill, the Eagle was perfectly formed. It looked like one of those Native carvings - smaller clouds making up the wing sections - and two large clouds, the Wings. The Image was perfect."" ""As I went over the crest of the hill, the whole Image passed in front of the Sun, and for a brief second, the sun shone out of a 'hole', in the 'eye' of the Eagle!"" I started making connections with other Eagles in my life; the Eagle letter opener, from Alert Bay; Emily Carr's Great Eagle, which hung above my desk; Eagle stories from unsuspecting friends, and numerous Eagle sightings - all of which 'came' at crucial times in my Life. I recorded all my Experiences in my Journal - At first it was just my personal experiences, but after a while, I saw that my Understanding of the World around me was also changing I felt strongly about how things were moving in the World, and became frustrated with the political condition. I saw that it was the imbalance between opposing Ideologies in the world, which was creating conflict everywhere; and I saw that we would soon be in danger if a Global Solution for a new political balance between the opposing ideologies in the world could not be implemented. I had to get through to them before it was too late. I decided to start writing letters to the editor. I chose ten major dailies in the United States, and three in Canada - I sent copies to the Union of B.C Chiefs, The United Nations, and the UBC School of theology. I introduced myself as White Eagle I am White Eagle 'wing' Arm of the Eagle, Unseen I have heard the sound of the Drum, beat of the Unseen Drummer. From the Deep within the Universe, He Comes, Power of the Unseen Drummer. Within the boundaries of our Lives He dwells, Spirit of the Unseen Drummer. In the midst of our Life, He Appears, smile of the Unseen Drummer. At the edge of the Universe, He waits, Power of the Unseen Drummer. In the Instant of the Moment, He comes - Light of His Visible Being. He stood facing east, into the Wind. There was a bright Light on the Horizon. Something was beckoning me. I 'knew' what the stick meant, and I recognized the Flame. I 'knew' I really didn't have any choice anymore."
