Overview

Riley was suddenly dropped into a fantasy world a year ago. After meeting new friends and being chosen by a dragon, she was now in her second year at the Academy of Aen Nil, a world which previously only existed in a book series... of which she only read 30 pages. She thought her first year was bad, but now she's now faced with new challenges that have nothing to do with her real world background. She now has to learn how to be a dragon rider and a member of the Aen Nil Defense Force despite still not knowing anything about either. She has to figure out how to take her real world experience and utilize it in a world that is nothing like hers. Between her new squadron and Copper, she is constantly kept on her toes. Combine that with her archnemesis, Calliope, or Kyllion everywhere she turns, her year is nothing short of eventful. Will she buckle down and become the next great dragon rider, or will she fold and be just another washed out recruit from Flodelva?
