Overview"""Imagination has no age"" This ""self-author"" book is intended as a learning aid for young writers to ""practice their craft"" and use their imaginations in creating stories involving the characters and settings provided on the following pages. The backdrop for these stories is a fanciful, early-American village called ""New Colony,"" which is populated by a diverse group of Critters working to overcome the challenges of living in the wilderness. The Series this publication is based on includes audio books and CD's, printed books, e-books (some with ""Magic Motion Illustrations""), and other learning/reading aids that stress the importance of being responsible, being independent, and working together in challenging situations. They also showcase how America, from its beginnings, has benefitted from the skills and talents of individuals from many different cultures and skill sets. We hope you enjoy this opportunity to capture the words and thoughts of your young writer as imaginations are exercised and our characters are sent on new adventures. We also hope that these pages, once filled with your child's unique thoughts and musings, become a family treasure to be enjoyed by parents, grandparents, and by your budding author, themselves, for years to come.
