Author Information

Tony Pucket is a Biblical Counselor and author in Shawnee, Kansas. He runs New Beginning Christian Counseling with his wife Sherrie. He has a Bachelors Degree in Human Development from Amridge University in Montgomery Alabama and a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University in Overland Park, Kansas. His background in counseling includes serving as an intern Marriage and Family Therapist with the U.S. Probation and Pretrial Office for two and a half years. During this time he counseled individuals, couples and families who were recently released offenders and family members of those involved in the Federal court system. He taught parenting classes at halfway houses in the Kansas City area, as well as a course on Reentry to help offenders adjust to the lifestyle changes involved in re-entering society. He has four sons, Kyle 27 from a previous marriage and step sons Jeremiah 28, Josh 26, and Jonathon 23. He has chosen to do Biblical counseling with his clients in order to combine the truth of scripture and the compassion of prayer, with the training he received as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
