Author Information

John M. Poothullil, MD, FRCP practiced medicine as a paediatrician and allergist for more than 30 years. He has spent 25 years researching the medical literature on type 2 diabetes and has concluded that the insulin resistance theory is illogical and unproven. He posits a more logical explanation for Type 2 diabetes: our modern diet full of grains. Chef Colleen Cackowski spent 2 years at the world-famous Living Light Culinary Institute, the world's premier raw food culinary school, as Executive Assistant to the Director, Cherie Soria, she devoted three years to training to become a Certified Nutritionist. Over the decades, Chef Colleen has partnered with many chefs, nutritionists, and healers to integrate optimal nutrition and wellness into peoples' diets and health regimens.
