Overview

Personal tragedy rips Detective Ryu Jeong from the only home she's known and deposits her in a small town in Louisiana. The swamps and bayous take some adjusting to, but there's no time to get friendly with her neighbors when a triple homicide rocks the little community. Ryu is put on the case, determined to bring justice to the grieving husband and father the crime left behind. Until local reporter Zaire Robinson reveals this case may not be the cut and dried investigation she's used to. He believes the man responsible for the Taylor murders is also responsible for three missing person cases that went cold decades before. Despite the horrible idea of working with a journalist, the two team up to solve all four cases before winter freezes their evidence, and any bodies, in place until spring. With evidence leading nowhere solid, and death threats left on her doorstep, Ryu fears she might lose more than her job if she can't solve these cases, and find her stalker, before the sand runs out of her hourglass.
