Encouraged by Mama and Dada who love him so much, he gives the barber a chance in this story about bravery and trust in his parents. This is Renán's second book, he's the author of Blessed Blade A Barber's Monologue. He is well aware of the fears some boys face when getting their haircuts, after more than 30 years as a barber. Haircuts can be very distressing to children's eyes. Some are more sensorial than others. The trick to cutting kids' hair is to do it quickly and distract them with something like cartoons. Maybe offering a reward after the haircut too. You'll be surprised by the progress after offering something so simple as a lollipop. They don't want to be the center of attention. "Renán is a master barber, a self-published author of the books, Blessed Blade: A Barber's Monologue and the Children's book: The Day Before the Haircut. He started cutting hair when he was 13 years old. At the young age of 18, he became a licensed barber. At that early age he had already earned two professional licenses, one for barbering and the other for cosmetology.
