Someone is after the Holly Queen of Faerie's crown. Again. Stuck with gossip and whispers doing the rounds, Demi is ready to revolt. Trouble is, she's sort of fond of her role as queen and isn't planning on giving up her crown or her home at Arcanium easily. For the Lord of the Illusion Court however, Arcanium has become a symbol of freedom. Kainen loves having a place to retreat to where he doesn't have to wear a noble mask, but that's about to change if he doesn't help Demi hold onto her crown. Once enemies, now friends, Demi and Kainen agree to work together to weed out the enemy once and for all. Trouble is, nothing is ever simple in Faerie and as we all know, Fae never fight fair.
