Overview

This book is for those that have lost a loved one during this COVID Pandemic. Those dealing with depression and anxiety brought on by this outbreak, those that lost jobs, homes, businesses and that were prohibited from attending funerals due to social distancing, travel restrictions or for your own basic survival? Those left with a sense of guilt, frustration, blame or just the emptiness of not being able to have a proper goodbye. Between hospitalization and separation, the CORONA-Virus has devastated families across the world leaving many without the closure necessary to begin the healing process. The Covid Letters commemorates lives lost during the Pandemic through grief-writing; a process that allows you to release unshared emotions that if left unsaid will fester causing further heartbreak and possibly prolong the grieving process. Author Spencer M Collins IV offers families affected by this pandemic an alternative to help heal the broken hearts of those left behind. Inspired by the loss of his Dad's last living sibling Rev. Gwendolyn Collins/Stephens and High School Friend Edward EDZO'' Andrews, he became painfully aware of the hurt of having to say farewell without physically saying goodbye. This healing process helped provide the closure needed through writing to begin the steps he used to heal and cope with the grief of losing a loved-one as well as work through other stressful situations. By creating an opportunity to celebrate the lives lost, and share the love and legacies of those we will hold dear in our hearts and never forget.
