OverviewThis book examines the role of the National Anti-corruption Commission (CONAC) and the Audit Bench of the Supreme Court, in the fight against corruption in public corporations in Cameroon. The objective is to determine the extent to which their activities can impact on good corporate governance in these establishments. Findings show that the two institutions are active and at the forefront in the fight against corruption in public corporations in the country. However, the impact of their activities is very much compromised by the circumstances surrounding public corporations in Cameroon such as the appointment of top officials not based on professional and technical competences, longevity of service and secrecy in their financial records.
