Outstanding Academic Book 1997. The list of contributors is a virtual who's who of scholars in sexual science. Choice Best Reference Sources of 1997. An extraordinary, highly valuable synthesis of information not available elsewhere. Library Journal An invaluable, unique scholarly work that no library should be without. Contemporary Psychology

"""This is a magnificent compilation of material about a wide range of sexual topics, presented with disarming regard to socio-cultural sensitivities. I hesitate to offer any substantial criticisms to a group that has produced such a definitive work.... Is bigger better? In this case the answer is definitely ‘YES.'...
