Overview

The United States Constitution is America's bedrock governing document. It is the source from which all laws and policies stem. Unfortunately, significant portions of the text exclude those who do not identify with he/him pronouns. If we wish to live in a country where every person feels welcome, included, and invested in teh future of this nation, then why would we not ensure our words match our intentions? This gender inclusive edition is edited to all Americans can see themselves in this sacred text. But for the change in pronouns, the text is a verbatim copy of the original Constitution. If words look to be misspelled or erroneously capitalized, it is because that is how the Founders wrote it. Also enclosed is a social contract. The Compassion Contract is a hopeful offering intended to encourage more compassionate engagement in society.
