Candy Block was born and raised in Central New York (officially home of the snowiest city in America). In 1992, she received her bachelors of science degree in accounting from King's College. While trying to land her dream job in accounting, her aspirations took her on another path. God placed a desire in her heart to write even before her ex-husband left. Since then she's had an article published about lightning in a kid's magazine and is currently working for a large global investment bank. Candy and her husband of over three years, Bob, facilitate Divorce Care at their church to help people heal from the pain of divorce.
