Overview

A 9-step programme guiding you from heartbreak to self-compassion and whole-hearted living Every single one of us is living with the aftershocks of heartbreak. Whether it's the sting of not fitting in at school or the pain of witnessing our parents' divorce, the end of our own marriage or the death of a loved one, to be human is to bear the wounds of all our losses and setbacks. Heartbreak can manifest itself as depression, anxiety, self-sabotage, an inability to feel emotions, make connections, or live life on your own terms. Donna's practical 9-step programme will empower you with the tools and support you need to gain clarity, identify what has hurt you, and learn how to release the pain, fear and anger keeping you trapped. Donna will teach you how to care for yourself with love, give you the courage to really feel your feelings, step into your authentic self and move towards whole-hearted living. This book is for anyone who is experiencing pain, heartbreak, sadness or overwhelming emotion, and can't seem to get beyond it. All of us want to be able to live with more compassion, The Bridge will help us get there.

Reviews

'Powerful, brilliant and deeply healing' -- Fearne Cotton 'Donna's friendly, fun, kind, down-to-earth knowledge and insights come to life in this book, guiding you how to honestly get to know yourself, your most important relationship of all. One of the many things I love about The Bridge is the way that Donna weaves in the genuinely practical and doable with memorable stories, heart-warming rituals and hard-hitting, life-affirming quotes. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone who wants to do the work. Since meeting Donna and learning from her on The Bridge live retreat, I've started to listen to and act on my own wisdom, which is singlehandedly the most powerful tool I have by my side now' -- Melissa Hemsley, Chef and Bestselling Author of Eat Happy 'Donna's words will peel back the emotional layers to reveal how you got to where you are, then help you build back up again, to the person you were born to be. The word transformational is overused, but the process in The Bridge is a radical healing journey, truly transformational' -- Brigid Moss, Wellbeing Journalist and Author 'Donna shows us how to come home to ourselves. Her gift is to help us heal our hearts by navigating loss in all its many forms. The Bridge is a beautiful book that I will return to again and again' -- Cressida Bonas, Actor 'One of my biggest regrets is that I didn't traverse The Bridge Retreat before the pandemic. At least God in her wisdom divined this book' -- Thandiwe Newton, Actor and Director 'My grief was blocking my joy. Donna's invite to go deeper into my pain meant I was able to access much more joy and it felt amazing. This work works! Give yourself the best gift ever, buy this book and go on the journey with Donna, you won't regret it' -- Jill Halfpenny, Actor
