Israel Journal of Ecology and Evolution Author InformationProfessor David Ward obtained his PhD in 1987 from the University of Natal, South Africa. After working in Israel and Canada he is now back in South Africa, where he is Chair of Botany at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. His research interests lie in the field of the ecology and genetics of plant-animal interactions, and he has published 130 scientific articles in international journals.
