1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 1:1 Mfitiaseɛ no, Onyankopɔn bɔɔ ɔsoro ne asase. 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 1:2 Na asase no nni nsɛsoɔ, na hunu; na esum kaa bun no ani. Na Onyankopɔn Honhom tu kɔɔ nsuo no ani. 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 1:3 Na Onyankopɔn kaa sɛ Ma hann mmra, na hann baeɛ. 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 1:4 Na Onyankopɔn hunuu hann no sɛ eye, na Onyankopɔn kyekyɛɛ hann no mu ne esum mu. 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. 1:5 Na Onyankopɔn frɛɛ hann no Da, na esum no frɛɛ no Anadwo. Na anwummere ne adekyee ne da a edi kan.
