Author Information

Karen Cushman has a long-standing interest in history. She says, ""I wanted to know what ordinary life was like for ordinary young people in other times."" Like Lucy, Karen was uprooted from the midwest as a child and transplanted to California. She now lives on Vashon Island, WA. karencushman.com@cushmanbooks
