Overview

Workplace conflict is common. Many employees express having difficulties with others and don't know why. Oftentimes one's worldview is at the center of the conflict due to past experiences. This book resolves conflict while providing a fun applicable example of a workplace. People in organizations are more insightful and well-rounded when the whole person is considered as part of workplace interactions. This book expresses the importance of allowing your employees to be who they are and learning from each other by leading with boundaries. All animals, and people, have unhealed aspects of their past that affect them in the present. Everyone has lived a different worldview. Paying attention to others' feelings and emotions will help people grow in more socially positive ways. Being cognizant of the power of words and actions is key to minimizing conflict and misunderstandings. People in organizations are happier and more productive when they feel heard and understood for who they are in their own context of the world. This book expresses the importance of realizing we all bring our unique voices and backgrounds to any workplace and that we can use our diverse perspectives to create amazing organizations if we allow the space for everyone's journey.
