For me, being resilient following the diagnosis of breast cancer at 39 was not the difficult part. Remaining resilient through surgery, and throughout chemotherapy... that was my hurdle to overcome... This book is to help those who are going through the journey and don't know what they don't know yet. For those who want an honest account of someone's experience with this disease. Someone who was able to laugh, cry, and eventually overcome CANCER. This is the story of how I worked through the journey of determining my own destiny outside of my family health history. This book is not perfect, but neither was my journey. I hope that you may find some comfort and insight for yourself or for the loved one you are trying to support."
