Overview

The Archer's Castle is the second book in an exciting action-packed saga of eleven books set in medieval England during the days of King Richard and King John, prior to the Magna Carta. It is the tale of an English serf who rises to become the captain of a company of archers and leads its survivors as they fight their way back to dangerous and brutal feudal England after King Richard suddenly abandons his crusade--and what happens to him and his archers when they return. Born and raised in Southampton, England, Shaun Grindell is an accomplished actor who trained at the Calland School of Speech and Drama and the Lee Strasberg Actors Institute in London. As an audiobook narrator, he has narrated many titles in different genres. Among his most notable works are the Hamish Macbeth mysteries by M. C. Beaton. Shaun also garnered an AudioFile Earphones Award for his reading of The Roving Party by Rohan Wilson. Martin Archer, a retired soldier, is the author of the Archers saga and the Soldiers and Marines saga.
