Cahn is professor emeritus of philosophy at the City University of New York Graduate Center. He is the author or editor of more than sixty books. Most recently he wrote Philosophical Adventures, The Road Traveled and Other Essays, and Inside Academia: Professors, Politics, and Policies. Andrea Tschemplik is associate professor of philosophy and religion at American University and teaches a variety of courses in the history of philosophy, as well as thematic courses such as the philosophy of love and friendship. She is the author of Knowledge and Self-Knowledge in Plato's Theaetetus and the editor and translator of Plato,The Republic: The Comprehensive Student Edition. Krista K. Thomason is associate professor of philosophy at Swarthmore College. Thomason is an expert on moral emotions, Kant’s moral and political theory, and social/political philosophy. Her work appears in numerous journals including Philosophy and Phenomenological Research, Kantian Review, and European Journal of Philosophy. She is the author of the book Naked: The Dark Side of Shame and Moral Life. Mary Ann McHugh is an instructor at the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication at Arizona State University.
