Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationCelebrating 50 years in Fleet Street in 2010, there are very few better known names in sports journalism than Brian Scovell. Specialising in both football and cricket he is best known for his many years on the Daily Mail, where England cricket captain Ted Dexter nicknamed him Scoop. As well as almost every big name in cricket and football, he has come into contact with many celebrities and world leaders including Margaret Thatcher, John Major and the Princess of Wales. He has written 23 previous books, most famously co-authoring the autobiography of the illusive Brian Lara for Corgi, but he has also written about Dickie Bird, Trevor Brooking, Bobby Robson and Ken Barrington. His books about England Managers and Jim Laker were both nominated for the Sports Book of the Year Prize. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
