Author Information

Ciara L. Hill is an international award-winning author and therapist, who grew up in a military family and became used to moving and living in different places throughout her formative years. Her book, Shiloh and Dande the Lion, was one of the winners of The Wishing Shelf Book Awards 2020 and was named best of the best by the Black Caucus American Library Association. In addition, Ciara has authored several other books, including Soulful Holidays (a seasonal best-seller), Thank Fall, and Cocoa Mistletoe. Today, Ciara lives with her husband and their son. In her free time, she enjoys relaxing on a beach, listening to old school and R&B music, watching 80s and 90s movies, and cozy nights during autumn. She is also fanatical about Christmas and has been known to watch a Christmas movie any time of the year.
