Further, professor Flyvbjerg was President of the Danish Diabetes Association from 2000-2011 and is presently member of the Board of Directors of EASD, Chairman of the EASD Postgraduate Education Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy (DDEA).
