Brown is a freelance writer who has written for Time-Life Books' Mysteries of the Unknown and Mysteries of the Criminal Mind and written articles on historical artifacts, scientific discoveries, and popular culture. Originally from Texas, he currently lives in New York City. James Buckley, Jr. is a sportswriter for children. He has written more than 50 books about sports for kids, including titles on baseball, football, NASCAR, soccer, the Olympics, and more. Michael Burgan has written more than 250 books for children and young adults. His specialty is history, with an emphasis on biography. A graduate of the University of Connecticut with a degree in history, Burgan is also a produced playwright and the editor of The Biographer's Craft, the newsletter for Biographers International Organization. He first started writing for children as an editor at Weekly Reader before beginning his freelance career in 1994. He lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Gary Furlong grew up in Wexford, Ireland. Throughout his life he has worn many a hat: He has worked as a teacher in Niigata, Japan; a puppeteer in Prague; an improv artist in Memphis, Tennessee; and as a singer and actor all over Ireland. He started narrating audiobooks in late 2015 and hasn't looked back. Gary has narrated over fifty books spanning various genres. The recipient of an AudioFile Earphones Award, he specializes in accents and dialect, with fluency in Irish, British RP, and Standard American.
