English III, MD, is currently a Professor of Dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh, Department of Dermatology. He graduated from St Bonaventure University with a Bachelor of Science in 1987 and obtained his medical degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in 1991. His dermatology residency was performed at Brooke Army Medical Center from 1994-1997. He has spent his entire career in academic dermatology as a clinician educator. He has a broad range of interests in medical dermatology, producing over 200 various publications and a textbook entitled “Skin and Systemic Disease: A Clinician’s Guide”. He is the founding Medical Director of the UPMC Teledermatology Service (2008) which offers inpatient and outpatient electronic consultations. His current focus is on expanding the department’s teledermatology service capabilities to all the patients of the UPMC Health System and state of Pennsylvania.
