OverviewThe Young Historical Fiction Series is a series of fictitious books based on history. The first book is Tall Boy: Abraham Lincoln Abraham Lincoln was an American original. He was born on February 12, 1809 in Hardin County, Kentucky and he lived for fifty six years. He came from a humble beginnings and with very little formal education, Lincoln went on to become a respected lawyer, congressman and eventually President of the United States. This story is fiction. It is written for children ages 6 to 12 and it is our hope to show how a slave in Hancock County Kentucky might have remembered Lincoln.
