Derek Scrimgeour, known locally as the Cumbrian dog whisperer, farms near Keswick, in the beautiful North Lake district. He holds regular training clinics on his farm and is a frequent guest trainer in the United States as well as Europe. He has made several DVDs on sheepdog training including The Shepherd's Pup, also published by The Good Life Press and is considered to be one of the most influential characters within the sheepdog trailing world.
