Overview

In the second book in this series Maya and Trevor are working together in their chaotic life and twisted love as they encounter explosive situations that turn their lives upside down 3 years after Maya was originally kidnapped by Trevor. Maya has accepted her demented love with Trevor as his obsession gets worse, and more violent. She has slowly begun to lose her sanity day by day and her sense of moral the more time she spends with Trevor but continues to question why she stays other than complete fear and twisted love of Trevor. Trevor's protectiveness begins to outweigh his violent tendencies as the years have gone by, becoming softer with Maya and wanting to protect her more than terrorize her for revenge. His sanity becoming gentle by what others can see. He can't accept what he sees as weak however: soft. Marie is formally introduced as Oliver's love interest in the story, she also been kidnapped by Oliver and a spit fire woman who takes nothing ridiculous but has a weakness of her own that she hides within. She doesn't want to be held captive against her will but her attraction towards Oliver and his genuine love towards her grows every day as she accepts him for who he is. Jackson now part of Dzhaun, a notorious biker gang in Castle City had seemingly given up all hope on finding Maya ever again after he assumed she left town, turns out they've been thinking of each other a lot more than the other realizes as they try to reunite. Maya mistakes everything for love. Trevor mistakes everything for hate.
