"Pam Ward, an AudioFile Earphones Award-winning narrator, found her true calling reading books for the blind and physically handicapped for the Library of Congress' Talking Books program. Teresa Pitman has been writing about birth, breastfeeding, and parenting for more than twenty-five years. She co-wrote the popular ""Steps and Stages"" columns in Today's Parent, Canada's national parenting magazine, and has also written for many other magazines, including Mothering, Family Fun, Chatelaine, and More. Diane Wiessinger is an American breastfeeding advocate, author, and researcher. She is coauthor, with Diana West, Linda Smith, and Teresa Pitman, of La Leche League International's Sweet Sleep Nighttime and Naptime Strategies for the Breastfeeding Family. Diana West is an international board certified lactation consultant in private practice in New Jersey. She is the author of Defining Your Own Success and coauthor of Sweet Sleep. Mayim Bialik is perhaps best known for her lead role as Blossom Russo in the early 1990s NBC television sitcom Blossom, and she currently stars in the top-rated comedy series The Big Bang Theory. She earned a BS from UCLA in 2000 in neuroscience and Hebrew and Jewish studies, and a PhD in neuroscience from UCLA in 2007. She designed a neuroscience curriculum for homeschoolers in Southern California, where she also teaches biology, chemistry, and piano to middle and high school students. Married to her college sweetheart with two young sons, Mayim is also a certified lactation education counselor. She is currently the celebrity spokesperson for the Holistic Moms Network, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting holistic and green parenting and living. She is also a writer for Kveller.com, a Jewish parenting Web site.
