It has been said that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. What is often not said is what to do about it. It is easy to say that we should choose life. What happens when that choice is no longer appealing? This book explores the inside issues of suicide from someone who wrestled with it and found many of the answers empty. It is aimed at helping those struggling with suicide ideation to find answers to the whys behind their feelings and for the family and friends wanting to help those they care about.

Lance grew up in a service-oriented family, spending much time at the Volunteer Fire Department, the Red Cross, and their local church. As an adult, he did work in emergency medical services and private security. His favorite occupation was as a licensed psychiatric technician, working with high behavioral adults, who were developmentally disabled, in a residential setting. Currently, he is working with a charitable organization that transports donations and assists with training new driver helpers. This also allows him to enjoy his faith with a local Messianic community.
