He is both the nongovernmental representative to the United Nations for a nonprofit United Nations-affiliated public health and safety organization, as well as a chairman of the board emeritus. In addition, Dr. Everly serves on the adjunct faculty of FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and is an advisor to the Hospital Authority of Hong Kong. He has been awarded the Fellow's Medal of the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine and the Professor's Medal of the Universidad Wiener in Peru.
