The civil wars at Wyoming between the Connecticut settlers and the Pennsylvanians are viewed within the American Revolution. There follow major political revolutions in the USA, France, and St. Dominique. In the 17th and 18th centuries science and colonization evolved through the ideas of the British Elightenment. This led to the industrial revolutions in England and America, the American Civil War, and reconstruction of the U.S.A., including the development of the American West. Colonial Empires reached their apex in the 19th Century. Part Three introduces history powered by electricity to this day. Revolutions change the way of life on all stages of history. The reader learns about the commerce revolutions, issues concerning land, labor, capital, as well as the information revolutions, and some of the financial revolutions. In the Afterword, the reader discovers that she is the fourth stage of history. This leads to the larger question; How am I affected by my local, national, and world history? Author Information

Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania in 1953, Ted Warren majored in European History at Harvard College before studying in Marburg, Germany. He ended up teaching History and English for thirty-three years to grades six through twelve at Waldorf Schools in Oslo, Norway and Princeton, New Jersey.
