Overview

In an era where freedom remains elusive, a young man finds himself at the heart of a struggle for the most fundamental human right: the right to be free. Set against the tumultuous backdrop of 1950s Cyprus, this tale, inspired by true events and interwoven with a touch of magic, sees Herodotos championing the cause for independence on multiple fronts. His story marks a timeless testament to the resilience of the few who dare to defy the might of the many.

Author Information

Marios Michaelides is a chartered accountant, musician and frontman of the bands Methysos and Occult Kenji. His academic background and profession left little room for artistic expression, so this itch was satisfied for years by music composition. More recently he has decided to put aside the guitar pick for a while, and to explore the magic wand that is the pencil. Marios draws his inspiration from history and the exploration of world cultures, something evident in both his literature and music.
