OverviewWe find ourselves in a late capitalist, postmodern and postcolonial society. Strannberg, on the other hand, is a product of something completely different... Strannberg – The Chauvinist Manifesto is the preliminary complete collection of the cartoons Strannberg, which is published in the norwegian literature newspaper BLA – Bokvennen Litterær Avis (the book contains all the cartoons in the period 2016–2024). In the series, we follow the self-absorbed author Strannberg (and his agent Don Ravioli), who travel through the thick and thin of Norwegian cultural life – populated by snobbish cultural elites, socialites, critics, writers, philosophers, and the occasional visit from Karl Ove Knausgård. Samuel Nyholm (*1973, Lund) is a Swedish illustrator living in Stockholm, Sweden and Bremen, Germany. He works under the pseudonym SANY, and is a professor of illustration at the Hochschule für Künste Bremen, initiator of The Northern Drawing School, and co-founder of the design department at the University of Sulaymaniyah, Iraq. All joke drawings by Samuel Nyholm / SANY Essay by Andreas Berg (professor of illustration at the University of the Arts in Oslo) Full Product DetailsAuthor: Samuel NyholmPublisher: Foot Books Imprint: Foot Books Dimensions: Width: 13.00cm , Height: 1.30cm , Length: 18.00cm Weight: 0.172kg ISBN: 9788293875451ISBN 10: 8293875453 Pages: 172 Publication Date: 01 January 2024 Audience: General/trade , General Format: Paperback Publisher's Status: Active Availability: In Print This item will be ordered in for you from one of our suppliers.
