Reviews

""I purchased this to keep myself occupied while taking my kids to their practices. I ended up loving it so much with all of the different activities that I ended up purchasing it as a gift for my older friend as a holiday gift, who I thought would appreciate it. She messaged me to tell me she loves it. Highly recommend for anyone looking to fill their mind with something other than scrolling on social media and looking for some positive mindfulness while doing the puzzles."" ""Combining puzzles, mazes, word searches, coloring, and sudoku, this book has something for everyone. Add a dose of positive thinking, and you have an activity book that engages you in a productive and meaningful way. The formatting of the activities is simple, clear, and easy to follow."" ""The variety of tasks-from mind-decluttering exercises to confidence-building activities-encourages users to stay present, break negative thought spirals, and find inner peace. Each activity is designed to be engaging and beneficial, making it a valuable addition to anyone's daily routine who wishes to cultivate a healthier, more peaceful mental state."" ""The Stop Overthinking Activity Book is a gem! It's packed with fun and stress-relieving puzzles and activities that help me break free from overthinking. This book offers a perfect mix of relaxation and mindfulness, making it a delightful tool for calming my mind and enjoying the moment."" ""This book would make a lovely gift for yourself or anyone else with an overactive brain! The puzzles and activities are designed to help you slow down and engage in something fun, relaxing, and affirming. It can be used alone or with a friend or loved ones -- would be a great way to spend some simple quality time with family over the holiday. It would also work great in classrooms or in a counseling practice. Highly recommended!"" ""The act of putting the brain into a ""soft"" motion when I was sitting down and having leisure time was enjoyable to me. The responses serve as mild reminders to keep your attention on the present moment as you come up with them. I adore the book."" ""This book has quickly become part of my everyday routine that includes leaving my phone plug in another room. I really look forward to sitting down on the couch and going through a few pages at a time. Love the incorporation of positive affirmations into the puzzles. Great gift and stocking stuffer!""

Author Information

In 1993, Connie Correia founded Small Potatoes Press, a boutique publishing house that produced a dozen books, and Cuizine, a foodie magazine covering South Jersey and Philadelphia. In 2005, pregnant with her second baby and having just opened The Pop Shop restaurant in Collingswood, Connie published what she thought would be her last book - fittingly a book about motherhood. She ""retired"" from publishing, as the restaurant's birth, plus new baby Dashiell left little time for publishing. In 2023, as that ""new baby"" turned 17, Correia dreamed of publishing again - this time with her son, Dashiell Grey, a high school junior, as the author. In November 2023, Dashiell's first book of poetry -- ""The Diary Young"" -- was published by Small Potatoes Press.""Dashiell is incredibly inspiring - both for his talent and his commitment to writing,"" says Correia. ""His work is complex, nuanced, and profound. It deserves to be in print. And I want other young writers to see that anything is possible. They have the power to share their words.""The release of ""The Diary Young"" rekindled a love of publishing for Connie. She has written coloring, activity, and quote books with many more titles coming.Although publishing has changed significantly in the last 17 years -- ""no more ordering 5000 books and driving them around to stores"" -- the thrill of creating and holding a physical book still holds the same magical power.
